I’m not sure that’s so far off from what she’s saying. I think you have to account for the fact that Nigella’s “brand” is indulgence. That means her cooking shows and books tend to focus on meals with a little extra something — something indulgent, generous, maybe a little sinful. But that doesn’t mean that every time

I would imagine that Nigella probably eats quite sensibly in her day to day life, she just doesn’t eschew sweet and decadent treats. She looks freaking incredible (she’s 55 years old!) so whatever she is doing is clearly working for her.
