Doesn’t mean you can’t be solid. You’re conspicuous by absence. Of course I say all this somewhat in jest, as I’m not sure what changing avatars does to help Deadspin writers, or why quitting does anything about Barry being canned. Doesn’t seem like just cause to me, but like any story I’m sure there’s a lot more to

Where’s the union solidarity at Bradley?

I think it does.

^It's right here folks, this is where your stars go

Underrated comment, a slow burner

86 base model, iron duke, stick, no cruise. Heated rear window and variable delay wipers complete the options list, haha. Bought it from a field where it’d been sitting for years. Drove it for a bit burning more oil than gas, then swapped in a '99 3400 v6, replaced the suspension, added power windows, locks, cruise,

I never noticed that, nothing like a good mildly amusing pun.

Very interesting, in North America I think it’s safe to say nostalgia for the Pony is pretty low.

Right? Isn’t the Pony a vehicle best forgotten? Now I want to see a new Chevy concept “inspired by the Chevette Scooter"

Underrated comment, M22 laughs in the face of your rocks

Well that's dramatic, yes it can get to -40 here, but your engine definitely won't seize from being that cold. It may not start, it may crank over slowly and take a couple seconds to get oil pressure, but I've never heard of engines seizing. Although synthetic oil is god's gift to the prairies, 0W-whatever just makes

“grease-lubricated turbocharger” - sooooo basically unlubricated. I’m amazed that poor journal bearing still spins. Or maybe it doesn’t.

It’s all about those high flow fittings. The largest impact in the world won’t twist a spaghetti noodle when it’s pulling air though an m style quick coupler. Replaced all my couplers with JIC fittings. No more quick disconnect, but the airflow is a whole new world.

It can also be caused by (on a mechanically injected diesel) bits of the govenor or fuel control mechanisms getting stuck, spraying diesel in until it over-revs and blows up.

Who needs wipers when you aren’t driving? Or headlights? Or windows? 2025 Model X - you thought it looked like an egg before

That Sunfircielago works... better than I expected it to. Not the surface finish, obviously that's terrible, but the general shape of the thing.

“By default” - ahahahahah, get it, because Tesla might go bankrupt. Underrated comment.

I don’t know if anyone ever thought it was a good movie, but it’s entertaining in spite of being bad. It’s acted and filmed so seriously, and yet the plot and script is much better enjoyed as camp. It helps to that evert scene is incredibly quotable. “Nobody likes the tuna here”. Ahahah, what a film. Still holds up,
