In some ways that kind of rewarding the player reflects a lot in some of the characters... sure they are willing to fight and kill to protect their home if need be, but are not “kill them all, let god sort them out” bloodthirsty types.

Yeah Arthur became hands-down the best knight in the game. His stats spike like crazy in his later levels. As for best overall... I think he ties with Bleu, another character you had to work with (but not as much) who turned into an absolute destroyer in his later level stats.
Dear God... Landstalker and Shining Force 2 are two of my all-time favorite games! I still have my Sega Genesis and my copies of Shining Force 1 & 2 that were a large part of my junior high years. I also used to have Wild Arms on my PS1... this article has me on a death march down memory road.
More than likely that is her Suicide Squad look for missions on that team, and in her solo series stuff she will sport a look similar to the usual ways she has been dressed.
I have seen this Joe Quesada cover before, and every time I see it I always think he drew himself as the dude they caught.
I feel your pain about Green arrow... huge fan of the character, but the book has been pretty “meh” since Jeff Lemire left it. The only hope might be that with the whole Rebirth philosophy, which is meant to get back to the core fundamentals of the characters, means Percy has to write a Oliver closer to the standout…
Has anyone else started to wonder if Zack Snyder really wanted to make movies starring Wolverine and/or The Punisher, but was not able to so he vowed revenge by trying to turn two classic superheroes into grimdark antiheroes?
Cyclops was fused with energy powered hero The Ray, who at the time wore a jacket similar to the one in the picture.
Oh look... another reason Peter Capaldi is absolutely freaking awesome. What a surprise.
The only possible reason Spider-Man would be on that side is the writers making a over-simplified argument of “If we can stop criminals from committing crimes before they happen, no one will lose someone the way I lost uncle Ben!” kind of thing. I think I will be avoiding this story...
One thing that popped into my head that maybe the person in the jacket is Elektra when she first shows up and the woman on the ground is Claire... like she attacked Clarie to screw with Matt or get his attention.
That is what I remember hearing too. GL and Batman were allowed to keep most of their continuity in some form or another going into The New 52 due to being the top two superhero book sellers for DC, so they wanted those books to more or less stay the course with just minor adjustments.
I almost picked up Hercules when it started as well... I ended up not buying it due to 1. Comics are getting freaking pricey and 2. Much like Black Knight (as much as I hate to admit this), I figured it would not last long... though I thought it would last longer than 5 damn it. Honestly both books really did not get…
Aw man... this was one of the books that lured me back to reading more Marvel (I tend to bounce between DC and Marvel every few years and have been leaning towards Marvel again). So it looks like it is just Amazing Spider-Man, Daredevil, Dr. Strange, and Moon Knight in April...
The Human Torch is working with the Inhumans and a member of the Uncanny Avengers, while The Thing is hanging out with the Guardians of the Galaxy. As for Mr. Fantastic and the Invisible woman, along with their kids, that will be in the finale of Secret Wars.
Oddly enough the whole “all-new Marvel” thing is slowly bringing me back to reading more Marvel comics than DC, which I have been reading way more of the last couple of years. Amazing Spider-Man, Dr. Strange, and Black Knight have really caught my attention and shifted the money I have budgeted for my monthly comic…
I have not been reading much Marvel over the last two years, but Amazing Spider-Man has brought me back a little bit to the Marvel camp. Loving the new direction and humor on display. Those two panels are great!
