I am thrilled to hear this! The media buzz about Sense8 seemed lukewarm so I was really getting scared for a second. Can’t wait for the next season.

I have to say that I think “I’m the Juggernaut Bitch!” was fucking awesome. Probably didn’t age well, but I remember being fucking thrilled when he said it. Also if you don’t like The Crow putting make up on while listening to the cure, then you probably aren’t the target audience for that movie.
Agreed, that shit is annoying.
Regular cicadas are like crickets, periodic cicadas are like swarms of locusts from biblical times. 1 million per acre. It really is a big difference.
You didn’t seem snarky at all, very polite post. Yes, I do have a pretty big time requirement for a book to be considered a classic. But movies are a much newer medium and I think calling something a classic movie from the past 20-30 years is just fine because we don’t have century old movies to compare it to. But…
I think, although I could be mistaken; that you might, have something! slightly wrong with your, brain/reading style/eyes? because it really, really, isn’t that hard to : read something, with lots of incorrect punctuation” at, the, correct, pace. If you^ try (just, a, little.) Commas are like the spice of the English…
I loved that beat in the AoU. It seems very in tune with Hawkeye as a character to me. He is totally the non-powered hero that will get caught and mind controlled... But god help him if he isn’t going to see it coming next time and get the drop on them.
Honestly, I don’t think it is shaking out like that. After the debacle of Ultron, I think Tony is going to be full on registration supporter and Cap will side against it because it is way too similar to what he fought in WW2. I think they did a wonderful job of leading Tony from the rebellious hero who would never…
I probably wouldn’t put the Oz books into the classic category either, although only time will show us that for sure. I personally doubt the original books will still be read widely in another 300 years, though his story and world may survive in other forms.
The Iliad, Crime and Punishment, 1,001 Nights, Paradise Lost, and on and on.
I would agree that LOTR is not very well written. Again, an amazing story, but I feel like there should be more there in order to call something a classic. But that’s just me.
God, I hope not. As much as I love the story and think it is a great book to get kids to love to read, it isn’t that well written.
That style of salute wasn’t some unique invention of the Nazi’s, it was used widely by many different people before WW2. After that, suddenly people choose different ways to salute, go figure. Very much a manufactured controversy. I am pretty sure I have seen pictures of american’s saluting the american flag the same…
Rofl!
Lol, the circle of trolls just yelling at each other, the one guy literally sprinting around the party to correct everything he can, and then like 50 people standing in the corner just watching lol. I think we just wrote a comedy sketch by accident.
I am now imaging myself at a party, responding to people as if we were discussing things on the internet. I think it would actually be pretty hilarious.
No, because Panther is an accepted term to describe them.
Reed Richards is an awful person. When I realized that, I liked the character for the first time in my life.
Howl’s Moving Castle should he higher, your #1 is spot on, but it is Nausiccaa’s position that I disagree with the most. Top 3, top 5 at least imo. Nice list tho.
I really want them to call her Speedy. I don’t know why, I can clearly see that it is kind of dumb. Yet I want it so bad. Lol.
