Shadowrun is absolutely one of the best genre mash-ups ever, and it took me forever to find out. The idea of fantasy/cyberpunk just seemed so crazy it couldn't possibly work. How wrong I was.

If Martin continues to write the way he has been, I think the ending is anyone's guess. He has a great ability to lay out a web of possibilities that all make sense within the world yet are disparate enough that the story can go anywhere. I really hope Dorne and the Sand Snakes fuck some people up before the end.

It always takes me a second to recognize Janeane Garofalo which is kind of sad as she was one of my most intense crushes from high school. But I almost wish I hadn't because now I realize she is staring in a show on Bravo about white rich assholes... I just can't even.

Dark Elves are not awful, they are awesome. They were handled terribly in the movie, but Malekith could have been an awesome villian.
