We had a 1977 LTD, my grandparents had two Lincoln yachts (the Town Car was in teal with a white vinyl top, limo light between the doors, oval window in the back...drool). I think ergonomics really killed what made them so comfortable. Today’s seats are programmable, they wrap around you, lumbar support yadda yadda.

Consistency in the little things is the only consistency we have right now. I can completely sympathize with these people.

Aren’t masks an obligatory part of any Eyes Wide Shut party? Seriously though, it’s kind of cute that swingers are still a real thing, and not just a punch line about Baby Boomers and potato salad. I mean between Grindr and OnlyFans, an iPhone is basically one big virtual bathhouse. It’s nice to see the formal

I was expecting more than 254. Like way more. I mean it’s a Guinness record, it doesn’t have to taste good to win. I feel like some pizzeria in the Midwest (or Guy Fieri) is looking at this right now as a challenge. Applebee’s Macho Queso Mountain: Ride Ranch River to 500 cheeses, that’s so money!

God I miss the ‘90s. I never got into any of the drugs they had back then, but I’m sure thankful the music industry did.

I’m sure it’s been said before, BaT is a great place to launder money.

This looks Target started selling cars in the aisle between the bikes and the coolers.

Check out the Facebook marketplace. There are always several decent running ones in my area for less than $5000.

Sadly, many of these had value before they were co-opted by the status quo. When bigotry isn’t out and proud, it’s vaguely gentrifying minority communities and values. The status quo just can’t stand it when something isn’t about them: so it moves in and squats until there’s nothing left but bland potato salad.

There’s no questioning the politicized pattern of denial, but in some cases I imagine it’s the fear of the unknown (we know what lung cancer is and standard treatments provide hope). These stories remind me so much of the early days of HIV: partisan posturing, conflicting information, but most of all a terrifying lack

For me, it depends on my impression of the state. New Jersey has fine license plates, but I hate getting stuck with those on rental cars because I know I’ll be a target for cops anywhere south of Maryland.

If the government wanted to cut me a check for $10,000 - or the few thousand I still owe - I wouldn’t turn it down, so it’s hard to justifiably be annoyed with those who are eligible. The unfortunate reality is that progress sometimes comes with a certain amount of unfairness.

This is what happens when the dork in middle school claps back at everything the bully says. It’s what happens when you respond to anyone on Reddit.

The Imperial wins it for me. By far.

This hurt a bit to read. I feel incredibly old knowing someone who writes for a pop-culture food site didn’t know about McDonaldland.

Sounds like PR is working overtime with a nearly impossible task. I’m sure it’s a remarkable vehicle, but I had a problem processing any of the specs while trying to think of a good woodchuck joke. It’ll look nice in a remake of The Car.

Mary Steenburgen’s hair is giving me early ‘90s Deee-Lite vibes. Like Lady Miss Kier grew up and moved to Connecticut.

Never underestimate metadata’s ability to uncover politicians cosplaying as Black men and teenage girls.

So, the transition will ultimately be held up by the admin you email when you need a new mousepad. That sounds...fittingly 2020.

Yeah, the last Ranchero. I’d say it’s passably cool now. I forgot about that Durango thing. You didn’t see them often.
