This is a last straw, not a reason to leave. This site and the comment system are actively hostile to use. It was mostly to worth it to fight through to get to special content, but I’m done with pop-ups, an unusable comment section, no mobile support and pages that routinely fail to load.

this smug ass response is like the icing on the cake for me leaving. i was already out the door anyway, but i kept coming back for torch and tracy. but this attitude right here seems to be taking over the culture of the writers at jalopnik and i have to think it’s souring the taste of many who might still read this…

Jason: you’ve always been a stellar dude on this site, writing the most absurd nonsense, and your passion for everything has always been apparent. Your writing constantly kept me coming back for years. I hope all the best for you on future travels.

I follow both on Twitter, I’m sure they will give updates there. Damn, this sucks, but looking forward to new project. David and Torch are the reason I have stuck around here, not saying I won’t still pop in, but damn, they will leave a big void.
