I see your point, which has me on the fence on this issue. I just speak from experience. We had a protest my senior year of high school to show our disapproval with the firing of a teach. (she still has that job today so it worked) But, most of the school participated because they missed class.

While I agree with what the protest was for the students should learn that actions do not come without consequences. Otherwise you’ll turn every issue into a school walk out so they miss school.
