I like the psychological/behavioural entries that show up on LifeHacker from time to time. I don't know if I would call this a "hack" per se, but it's always particularly interesting to read these ones.

I was very confused the first time I saw college freshmen walking around in heels and fancy, short dresses. Mostly because it was last year. I honestly don't remember college parties, Frat or otherwise, with girls dressed like that. I remember jeans and sneakers the whole way through.
