I’m working under the assumption that a shakeup of this magnitude would put a halt to business as usual. This may be naive of me.
It’s really inspirational that in a year filled with turmoil that is tearing the country apart, with plenty more still to come, the Republicans in Congress can still unite and find a way to completely screw over tens, if not hundreds, of millions of people.

Rememer when Trump called Cruz’s wife ugly and insinuated his dad killed JFK, and Cruz was all “there is no way I can support this guy” and then two weeks later was all “I have prayed on it and I will support Trump.”
It’s difficult to overstate how wildly inappropriate it is for the fucking president to be commenting on the outcome of a criminal trial in the way Trump did. And, the scary thing is, I actually expected much worse.
