My mom rarely leaves the house without lipstick. I have great memories of my older sister “putting on her face” which took...gosh, had to be an hour. She doesn’t do nearly that much anymore. And she looks fabulous. At least in pictures. She never comes home. But that’s another story altogether.

It’s like people who try too hard to conceal freckles. Freckles are pretty. And unique, nobody has the same freckles. Anyone can have plain old boring skin.
