Mr. Ogre is Still Alive...more or less

I'm not likely to listen again, so I suppose it doesn't matter.

Wow. Not my usual type of movie, but it looks so good I have to see it.

Not everybody, I'm with you. Nothing against Sam, he's just not for me.

Wait, you're telling me there are words in there?

Still love that song. Bowie. Awesome. So much music, so little time.

Best story ever.

That and the "say one for me!" joke every time I'm on my arthritic knees to reach something are the reasons I LOVE my job.

Well she did turn me into a newt.

There there. It's bound to get better. Here's to better days.

Yeah, I get that all the time as well. I'm trying to learn to yell more politely. I'm a little bit hard of hearing in some frequencies (sang in loud places once upon a time. Loud is fun. Well, it was.) But so far I can still here most people talking. Knock on wood.

That's...probably pretty accurate, actually.

Let's not call them super. Just little baby trolls thinking they have some power over us, which they don't.

Yeah, I'm inclined to agree. But so is religion in general.

Technically, yes, she can, but she went to a clinic ONE time and didn't like what they did, and won't even consider the idea now. The woman at the desk was a little rude, in her eyes, and that was it. She's a little wee bit stubborn.

Funny how that works...

Luckily mother and I don't argue much. It just sometimes sounds that way. Because of the volume. :)

Oh I get the "you don't have to shout" thing all the time. But I do. And then she shouts back, and I say "You don't have to shout...".

My mom is getting increasingly deaf, so the argument tends to end with her saying "I must not have heard you..." for which there is no comeback.

Even if it does, I don't think it would help her career to sue him, and I think she knows that. She's taking the high road.

Also that a man is responsible for Kitchenette....so seriously, what the actual fuck?
