Mr. Ogre is Still Alive...more or less

It's cool. I've got coffee and an electric blanket. The east coast is wonderful. Most of the time. And friendly. Even when covered in snow.

You know, I never thought of that!

Me too. *ducks*

Good one!

Been way too long since I've watched Eddie.

Right!

Do we know she was uncomfortable? Am I missing something? I mean, she isn't my child, so why would I say what is appropriate so long as she's comfortable and cool with it?

I'm in Prince Edward Island, also Canada ;) I think masses of mice are at least as creepy as one big frickin' rat. Have always lived in town, so mice weren't as bad a problem, and we had many cats. So we saw them occasionally as trophies. But down at the wharf...eep city.

I don't but I think I can find some episodes through my cable provider. Or trick hulu into working in Canada. Wait, I didn't say that. You saw nothing.

When I was a wee little Ogre friends and I would hang around the waterfront and old downtown stores. I saw a wharf rat in the basement of a very old, but still quite popular store. This thing was the size of a small dog.

I've lived here all my life, and can only remember one year where we had this kind of snow. 1982. My mother is 72, and she thinks maybe in the 60s also. Too much to shovel for sure, had to hire a tractor with a serious blower, twice. And now the cold, I mean why not. Winter.

My brother lives in BC, so I'm used to it. We've just had a bad one this year.

Good point. Heck, I'd put up with it for millions of dollars. I'd have to shave first. And often.

Be happy with receding.

She has people to do it for her, though.

Impalpable! I like that.

Couldn't we like, spread some of this cold air west and meet in the middle? No? Just a thought.

But then we have to bring in lemmings, shrews, voles, moles, hamsters....

Pretty sure it's clear from my post that I'm Atlantic CANADIAN. And yeah, but that's _normal_ in Manitoba. And yet you choose to live there ;) We get cold on this end of the country, but it's usually in the -25C range.

My little brother and I loved this show so much. I was a young adult and he a young teen, but the humor hit us full force right where we lived. We got it.
