Well, it’s not missing the goal that’s the biggest problem (although Tesla investors do seem to put up with more missed goals than they would with other companies).

Except the cars aren’t even feature complete and they do expect them to do QA... the only difference is they make their employees pay for the privilege.

There’s a whole store for anything you can imagine. Food made out of plastic? Check. Condoms? Of course. Socks? Why not?

The good news for Tesla is that those folks who managed to get in line first are likely OK with this, both because they’re Tesla “Fans” and because they’ll get to brag about it to their friends. Plus they wouldn’t want to look stupid buying a dud before they could even test drive it... they would never admit it.

1st: Oh good. Mexico production would have meant building on a strong (until recently) relationship with a neighboring country. It would have also meant that at least some of the parts sourcing would have produced jobs in the US.

Banks already have an incentive to not give loans to people who “can’t” pay them. It’s called losing money. They don’t make loans to groups of people that, on average “can’t” pay.
