Yes, I care in the sense that it’s one of many factors. Everything else equal I would take better MPG. However I work from home and make decent money, so the entertainment of a 400+ HP V8 on the school run currently outweighs this. I imagine one day I’ll be just as happy (or more so) driving around in an electric

How many is three Brazilian?

In other words, someone with impressive feet.

Probably thanks to their cop pedigree, crown vics look best on steelies.

Jason, you need to give Elon a break. This is at least as good as Roombas were when they first came out and look how good they are now!

Not in LA, but literally saw one of these for the first time 3 hours ago.

Mine is one of these (not my picture). Can handle 3 across car seats, 4 doors, and 6.2 liters of LS3. What else does a dad need?

Lol, that’s half the battle.

Hmm... I would buy this if I had stupid amounts of money.

This just seems like the next logical step for the i8 (which is stunning in person). The appeal of the car is its futuristic design and the electric portion of the powertrain. The inline 3cyl engine was never the draw and I’m sure won’t be missed as long as the range/performance and particularly design deliver.

There’s a difference with consumers being ready for the “Idea of Autonomy.” When it comes to the “Reality of Autonomy”, I think it will still take time. We’ll see how long it takes to develop trust in a specific product, not to mention coming to grips with the cost involved.  People still often avoid a certain model,

Yeah, I mean I don’t think comparing sales between these three companies is particularly meaningful, but I still agree with your point. Even if (and I’m not saying they are) Tesla is starting down some fatal downward spiral, they will still have accomplished quite a bit. I wouldn’t say I’m a particular fan of Tesla,

I recently described Faraday Future as the Fyre Festival copy of Tesla. It’s reasonable to question whether they’re long-term viable or what they will become, but Tesla has already surpassed Fyre and even Delorean levels.

This doesn't come with an LS3, so this is an engine swap on top of power adds. I would think it makes more sense to start with the SS, as it's not like those are much more conspicuous unless you just happen to have an LS3 or caprice lying around already.

Nice, you invented the Bolt.

Yes, totally understandable, which for me is part of what makes it funny!

LOL @ ATTACK TIME!!!

Test drivers disengaged the autonomous mode on Apple’s cars once almost every mile, based on data the company disclosed in an annual report to California’s Department of Motor Vehicles.

It only builds the last gen truck and needs to ship the bodies in from another plant. It appears to have been an expensive temporary measure to make sure they didn’t lose production while the “real” truck plants were reconfigured for the 2019 MY trucks.
