I agree ... but hopefully you’re consistent in your thought process and will agree that the Model 3 isn’t an anything-fighter.

Bears cannot be controlled, they have rights too. I think you may be thinking of your right to arm bears.

Yeah, if you’re racing your $100k+ car I’m not in the same league as you and don’t have enough expertise to make any sort of judgement on your car buying decisions. Hell, even if you’re not racing it, I’m not going to judge you for buying one of these. I just wouldn’t.
I suppose that’s good to know, but I guess I assumed we were talking MSRP. I wasn’t implying there were any dealer adjustments to price.
I like that this car exists because I like that not every car follows the same formula. It’s not a car I would ever buy, but at this price there are too many other cars I’d rather have, including the R8.
I’m not intimate with the content they add, but they mentioned better interior. Between that and making each year faster than the last, those things cost money. As much money as they’re tacking onto the price? Probably not ... so that part of the price is “because they can”.
Good news: The owner knows who NOT to use to restore his F40 this time
This appears to be a concept car aimed at the niche market of drivers without heads.
Maybe it can tow the batteries in a strange trailer. I think I’m bored of seeing a purpose-built rally machine doing fast things by itself. I want to see one done with a car choice that draws me back in. Three wheels, with only one in front? That would do the trick.
I’m open to any variations of the High Power Robin as long as it’s not just a wheelie/rollover machine. It can roll over sometimes, just not all the time.
How do the taillights look?
Someone needs to do a high-power electric Robin. Batteries in the floor to lower the center of gravity. 500+ HP of electric motors in the back. Better tires & suspension of course. Maybe some caster wheels on the front corners to keep it mostly upright. And, most importantly, the world’s strongest roll cage.
There is a ton of natural light, so it doesn’t feel like it inside.
Or 1.2 Mustangs more money.
I was wondering if that was it, but it seems like a long walk to his office. I guess someone probably had to pick him up.
I’m curious about this, not challenging you. What year does “Newer” start? This was built in the 70's.
At 230+ miles it would be unusual to use up that range “around town” in a single day even if you couldn’t charge anywhere but home. I think that’s where people stop worrying so much.
Side Note: I’m not going to debate whether 23 miles (more than my total daily commute) is a significant range increase. We don’t know what the Model 3 will really get... it might be even closer, so it would be a dumb debate.
