Also of note: Most pirates have legs (even if they are made of wood) and could pursue a violent extortion scam that doesn’t include boats.

And the other car companies they would be purchasing from don’t employ people?
A Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area Transit Authority police officer was arrested and charged with “attempting to provide material support”
The worst part is that nobody noticed until long after he was dead,
So I take it you’re in the market for a new (used) BMW and want to drive demand down?
Like many other commenters, I would use one for coffee and one for water. I use reusable insulated bottles for both, so even if I’m not gone that long (or am just commuting), the bottles still take up space. They are also handy places to keep change for the meters, my cell phone, or other small objects. With two…
A publicity stunt where they actually put a “SpaceBus” in space wouldn’t make the name OK, but it would be pretty hilarious.
As someone with one real and other hypothetical future children, I would take out all of my wallets for a hypothetical future Tesla Electric Autonomous Minivan. I would run the other way, however, if I had to explain to everyone that my SpaceBus was not a bus and could not go to space.
As long as they’re making shit up as they go, they might as well go all the way. Zero emissions or bust!
They see me rollin’, they hatin’
Nope. It’s not a bus if it can’t fit more people than a van. Calling it a van, or even (gasp) minivan, should not be considered an insult. A perfect vision of an autonomous, electric minivan sounds pretty awesome to me and would be by far my favorite Tesla product.
Tesla bulldozer? Sweet!
So if it has no driving position (autonomous) and is based on a car/crossover, it must be a van.
Still, full sized vans exist without catering to families.
We have full sized vans that carry that many people in the US. We are left to guess at what the final product will be, since right now it’s just a few words Elon posted on the Internet. If it seats more than a van, the bus moniker seems appropriate, similar to these European rules, but American sized. My guess is if…
It’s absolutely marketing. The definition of a bus is a wheeled vehicle designed to carry many passengers. Like, more than something you might not call a bus. There is no such thing as a bus that carries the same number of people (or fewer) than a van. I would say that the VW bus was also a van, but that it was before…
What’s the difference between a mini bus and a mini van?
Is the difference in this case that it functions as public transport (like buses frequently do)? If so, that doesn’t really sound like a boomer play.
My car has never broken down in a way that rendered the roof useless. Why would I stand next to it in a rainstorm?
wherein you send me letters – presumably strung together to make words and sentences – and, in return, send you Doug.
