Right?! Like if you are part of the deranged fanbase that actually watches this dumb show, sure, whatever, but out here in the real world there are much better choices

With all the great villains we’ve had in the past 10 years, this is your choice for villain of the decade?

How big are these predators supposed to be? Opportunity is 5 feet tall.

I was thinking closer to this but whatever

And ThinkGeek is limiting the bust to just 1,602 pieces,

pixelated graphics = 8 bit in a lot of peoples minds. I’d have thought io9 would know better, but, obviously not.

I hate to break it to people who are waiting for this movie with any kind of anticipation. It’s really, really going to be a shit movie and also will flop at the box office.

I don’t think anyone is waiting for ready player one.

Did they screen print the entire poster? The “Summer 1993" at the bottom seems like and odd choice.

Just rewatched the scene after reading your post. 100% not the same girls. He makes no indication himself about that connection, the therapist doesn’t know about the kidnappings at that point. The situation (as weird as it is) is described as two 17 or 18 year old girls run up and they place his hands on their

Yep, it was some bit about two girls taunting him (wanna say in his outward Barry persona, might’ve been Dennis) to feel their breasts beneath their shirts. The therapist mentioned the incident. From that, I got the distinct impression that was why he targeted, stalked and kidnapped those two girls, with Casey being

Where the hell did you guys get the idea these were self-harm scars? They weren’t - those were clearly parental abuse scars, inflicted by her uncle.

whew, yeah - i remember him telling the therapist that he was taunted, working his job at the zooo; if it was done by two of the three girls he kidnapped... that flew right on over my head.

What twist? There was no twist. Only the logical progression of the various elements the movie had brought to the table.

I’m really glad that M. Night nixed that original ending, as it would’ve undermined the nature of what I perceived to be The Beast’s/Horde’s motivation for violence.

I realize I’m such an asshole for saying this, but I couldn’t deal with the voiceover. I kept thinking it was a joke and some less melodramatic narrator was going to come in. I had to stop when it didn’t happen.

“Our Universe, a vast and mystical place, yet full of mystery”

Avatar came out in 2009, which basically feels like a hundred years ago now. [...] The 3D was a big deal, the movie itself generated some interesting articles, and then everyone just... moved on.

If you were 14 when that movie came out, it was awesome. I was. It was.
