Having read the book, I think you’re looking at the map backwards. The Pacific Coast Sister Cities are in opposition to the President. The Sovereign Citizens Coalition are essentially loyalists.

California has the most legally registered guns of any state in the country. Not per capita or per person, but still the most of any state. And that is only *legal* guns. California has more than its share of illegal ones as well.
