I’m kind of torn. The wet surfaces didn’t look very good in my opinion. They are super grainy even on maximum detail and it looks more like a mirror or the roads are made of steel than actually being wet.  It’s jarring, but having put about 50 hours into the game I think they looked pretty crappy before when they are

Properly managed independent unions work just fine. Better than fine even. The problem is that a lot of them (like the police union) end up being led by people who are really working to protect the organization and the status quo.

Also, people are working on this.

This is the same issue as trying to sue individuals for downloading copyrighted music. It’s nearly impossible to track all of them down, especially the smart ones, and the amount of money that is recouped will never even reach 1% of the money spent to sue them.

Going after the big fish puts fear into other big fish.

This is and was generally true for a long time, but Zelda, Pokémon, and Mario specifically have become a lot more locked down in recent years with a lot of rom sites removing just those specific games while leaving everything else. Sony and Square Enix are also notorious for similar things.

I tried to play Reach for the first time when the MCC came out on PC. I didn’t end up finishing it with the primary reason being the clunky writing and terrible story-building with those characters. I say this as a die-hard fan of 1, 2, and 3, and I also enjoyed the heck out of 4 and 5. Reach is pretty much my least

It’s just a toggle in the options menu to move it back to the left and it functions like it always has.  The screenshots just show it off because it defaults to centered.

You can definitely just move the start menu back to the left, it’s what I did, muscle memory is not easy to break.

HIT ME WITH THE CLOWN PAINT!

Especially because the film industry uses 2k, 2048x1080

Best take I’ve seen. The Paul Brothers basically got rich by grifting children. They are a special kind of human scum.

To build that SM64 rom from the GitHub source you still need the original graphics assets. It doesn’t contain a single pixel of the original art, and the way that the code is restored doesn’t allow for them to know how Nintendo might have organized or named everything. It truly was “built from scratch” by combing

They reverse engineered the source code from scratch via decompilation. There is a GitHub repository that will build a byte-for-byte copy of the ROM. It doesn't include the graphics assets, you have to rip those from your own ROM to build so Nintendo doesn't have a leg to stand on there . The rest of these

It isn’t cards, but if you don’t know of Path of Exile check it out. Has the biggest, most intricate skill tree and most unique character builds of any Hack N’ Slash game I’ve ever played.

Wait, you are telling me that a company who makes table-top games and booster packs is now going a micro-transaction route in their digital games?  Color me shocked.

Yeah I see that now, Jesus H. they are getting lazy around here.

You nailed it, their developer service options are abysmal. I develop for a tiny company that is ultimately meaningless in the Microsoft pond, yet their support is 2nd to none.

On the other hand, Google’s support for personal accounts is well known to be shoddy if you are being nice.

They are fucking ASSHOLES about this stuff. The android dev subreddit is littered with stories with people whose dev account gets banned, and they get an AI response from computers with literally no recourse other than to talk to their stupid AI chatbot and get rejected. Appeals are rarely heard, and they won’t tell

*Mighty Number 9 waves*

That’s GTA IV, but yes
