My ME1 experience was pretty much over the shoulder of a friend. Watching his slipshod (the guy couldn't commit to one side) Renegade playthrough along with the bumbling interface/combat didn't impress me.

I've played most HMs from the last decade and I have to say in my opinion the most recent years haven't been the best. It's really feeling like more of the same (haha).

I think Clementine really acted like a foil to give the player the pull back to the reality, in the sense that the player was surrounded by adults freaking out. I know, not an original thought.

I don't think that anyone could call me a fan of MGS (at least not for the last decade), but Solid Snake is one of the most recognizable hombres in gaming, the voice included. The switch up now doesn't make any sense and pretty much puts a nail in the coffin of the Solid Snake that was.

I can't say I didn't dig the concept vid, but I'm still not sold on it.
