Every LoZ game, I have to name myself Thief. I have been branded that way since I started with Link’s Awakening as a kid, and it will continue.

Follow-up point: Movies are dumb. Give me good TV shows where plots can actually develop and matter.

Other point: 9 minutes isn’t a drastic change. “Soared” is a bit much.

I would think they could still be used to clear a small path if need be. Yes once a real fire has started it’s not of much use, but if it gets you to a door then that’s all you need.

Is there a spot where I can throw a Masquerade in an abby somewhere and wait the whole thing out?

Is it? Or is it like escape plans put at floor level, so you can still access them if there’s smoke everywhere above you.

I don’t understand the distaste for this game. My fiancee and I played and beat both of these games without too much issue. There definitely levels we said we didn’t want to play again because just getting 1 star was rough and the thought of getting 3 stars seemed laughable, but overall everything came together. I

That particular pose just makes me think he should be side by side with Toby in Spiderman 3.

Regions of Ruin and The Blackout Club for me. Maybe some Vermintide 2 if friends are on.

What new moneymaking? It’s not like there are lootboxes to buy here. The grind is just to give you a sense of progression while letting you enjoy the already great base game.

No new characters, but new talents and altered some of the damage mechanics. Basically made talents less obvious as to which needs to be picked at each tier.

Welcome to every DM’s conundrum. “How do I make sure this campaign doesn’t devolve into the story of a bunch of murder-hobos?”

I mean, if I call Apoc’s death violent, then every single “we’ll make them comfortable” death in hospice also is on the table. I don’t think I could live with that equality...

I think you and I have a different definition of violence then. I agree that the Apoc scene is freaky, but not because of violence. More because of how casually a life could be taken, like the flipping of a light switch, in the most disconnected non-violent manner possible.

A person going from living person to ragdoll in a fraction of a second doesn’t have near the impact of a person screaming and their guts falling out of them. When you saw the Matrix and watched Apoc ragdoll after having his brain disconnected from the Matrix, would you say that was maximum violence and maximum impact?

I would argue that a headshot is the more merciful of gunshot wounds. You aren’t writhing in pain for 20 minutes before you finally die due to blood loss or shock. If they really wanted to show violence and morbid spectacle, that’s what they’d do.

Probably some Earth Defense Force 5 and some The Blackout Club. I’m excited to dive into tBC’s lore and figure out what the hell is going on in that town. I hope it pans out as well and as deep as the Twitch gameplay I’ve seen. Talking to 8 different gods can be either really cool and immersive or pretty lame

That’s an established relationship though where that kind of thing is part of the dynamic, so I wouldn’t call it harassment. The content might be the same, but the intent is different.

This article is like all the thoughts going through my head as I was taking a scuba cert course and thinking back as to how many ways the player would’ve been dead in both Subnautica and Depth.
