Power fantasy, sexualized.
I view them as two sides of the same coin. Just one wants to be the character, and the other wants to do the character. :P

First and foremost: what a truly beautiful story!

i thought DAii was really good. Only issue I had were the asset reusing but the story, narrative, and gameplay were fun! Fighting was more enjoyable than dao to me

I loved DAO, and happen to have enjoyed Dragon Age II more.

It's an obscure Rev3 Games inside joke. On one of their livestreams someone in the comments said a game they were playing was like Alan Wake because the game used a flashlight (one of the broadest connections/comparisons ever made). Then jokes ensued, and soon every game was compared to Alan Wake, even Alan Wake

inb4 some white knights appear and tell us germans how horrible it is.

I see no difference. Any difference other than brightness/contrast is nearly impossible to spot here.

A few years back when the iPad 2 first came out, my husband ordered one online via Apple. He didn't realize it, but Apple had defaulted our address to the place we'd moved from a year earlier, which was in a different state. We tried fixing it through Apple, no luck. FedEx delivered it though we had put a hold on it.

Well thank fucking god you aren't in charge.

I have to say, I've never had this problem with police officers I've encountered. I worked briefly on a Sheriff's campaign, and each of the officers I met, I would absolutely call if I were raped/hurt/robbed/victim of any crime. And that's because they all were taught to be and were held accountable for being allies

It's not that the situation couldn't happen it's how it's written about. No guy that is a macho dick enough to suggest such a thing in the first place then goes on to turn into a such a sniveling bitch about the situation. The one thing in particular is him writing the detailed account of the other guy and that

AND...they'll have gay characters!!

because it sounds like it could easily be a guy with a kind of cuckolding fetish who wants to talk about it a lot

I think Hale's performance sounds forced, over compensation from a woman who continually plays Disney princesses or women with proper British accents. She sounds like she's trying too hard when the dialogue is aggressive or confrontational.

Everyone was clamoring that FemShep was a much more engaging, well-acted personality than BroShep, so I had to see what all the fuss was about. They were right...

I'm not sure why you have to stare at any character's butt when playing a game.

What did you see in this episode that made you believe Louie was attracted to girl? Their compatible humor? Their mutual interest in comedy? That makes this no different than the "FriendZone Whiner" who complains that the girl refuses to see him in any other way that Jezebel so often likes to mock.

Sounds like Insomniac learned their lesson after they focus-tested the very soul out of Overstrike and ended up with Fuse.

When Emma Stone, one of the most gorgeous creatures on Earth, tells us to quit judging our bodies, isn't that like Mitt Romney telling me to stop worrying about money?

...I find the interest and enthusiasm Americans have for our Princes a bit bemusing, in all honesty.
