It's hard to call me a fanboy when I own both systems and play mostly on PC anyway. In fact I believe I say "I hate playing on consoles" in the comments for this very argument.

Agree with you on that one. Persona is probably the only Japanese game franchise that I like. Well, that and Mario Kart. :D
I understand your point, but it's relative. There are no doubt thousands of people (maybe millions even) for whome Halo and/or Gears are some of their favourite franchises and far better than what Sony has. At the end of the day, whatever floats your boat.
Without turning this into some childish argument, what does PS3 have? A bunch of terrible Japanese games that 95% of Western gamers don't care about, a few mediocre open world titles, a dying hack and slash franchise that gets worse with every iteration, and a few critically acclaimed 10 hour linear action adventures…
Halo 3, 4, ODST, Reach and Wars are exactly the opposite of 'brown' (in fact they are among the more colorful games full stop), and they are NOT available on PC. Gears 2, 3 and Judgement aren't on PC, nor are Fable II, Fable: The Journey or Fable Heroes. Forza 1, 2, 3, 4 and Horizon are Xbox exclusives, as is Alan…
Are you seriously suggesting the Xbox doesn't have exclusives? Really? It has exclusives that sell far higher numbers than any that Sony does, with the exception of Naughty Dog games. And its exclusives tend to score higher critically as well, once again with the exception of ND.
"I'm leaning toward playing GTA V on this machine, since Rockstar's already been demoing the game on PS3." I suspect that's because Sony has a deal with them including the bundle and so on. After MS got them with the GTAIV DLC they probably want to be the 'lead' platform for the next game.
I play all my games on PC, except console exclusives, for which I begrudgingly turn on the console.
It's mainly to keep you interested. So everyone doesn't buy what they want on day one and forget about it the rest of the two weeks. Instead they keep adding new daily deals and flash sales so you buy more over the whole period.
Love that sarcasm there buddy. Learn it.
Hey! I love Fable 1 and Halo 2
I thought Forza Horizon was very impressive considering the almost complete lack of hype or expectation that it would be anything more than decent.
I know, right? I thought it was pretty obvious :D
Wow Kotaku still doesn't get sarcasm :P Real gamers play on PC.
REAL gamers play Xbox.
Yeah, hopefully Sony announce something interesting at TGS, was *so* disappointed when 1886 ended up being just another action adventure.
Oh I have no doubt there'll be AN Uncharted for PS4, if not multiple games. But I really thought they would bring one out for launch, seeing that it's been two years since UC3 and Uncharted *is* Sony's biggest franchise in the West.
Even though it's clear that the PS4 is the more desirable console (at launch), if I had a choice between those 3 and Ryse, Forza and Dead Rising (not saying you would) I'd probably opt for the latter.
Japan is a modern, wealthy nation just like America is. There's no reason not to believe (in fact it's more than likely) that it doesn't have a similar spying program of its own.
The statement about most people sticking with current gen is Microsoft's logic for the XBO.
