Yeah, see personally I much prefer a small amount of big decisions to many small ones. I couldn't care less about picking whether I say something in an 'agressive' manner or in a 'friendly' manner. Give me more choices that really change the story, the world, the places I go, the allies I have. Give me that and you

New Vegas, like every Obsidian game, had good ideas and interesting writing but fell short on both execution and visual spendour.

What was the problem with it? Like how were they struggling?

I pretty much agree with all the points you've made. I suppose I don't like 'pure' RPGs in the style of AP then. If the main character is a blank slate to be defined by the protagonist (ala Dragon Age: Origins, which I'd argue is the best 'actual roleplaying' RPG this generation) then at least their friends, allies

Don't remind me....please.

Well it's explained in the book Asunder. Essentially the Divine, head of Chantry is almost murdered, a rogue (but strangely innocent) kid who turns into a demon starts murdering mages, one of the Grand Dukes of Orlais (a noble, pretty much) marches against the Empress, the Templars crack down, the mages go out of

Also I think in regards to Hawke's story, its the explosion in Kirkwall that sets off the whole thing.

I justified the level repetition in the way that Varric telling the story couldn't be bothered to describe every dungeon/cave/warehouse so he just says 'yeah like the other one'. :P

The future is digital, and connected (but not necessarily multiplayer).

Yes, but a lot of people thought the baby was going to be the crux of the whole game when Gaider's confirmed multiple times that it won't be.

They said the god baby won't be essential to the story, and will respect those who didn't make the decision.

If you replace the entire computer inside every few years, and maintain the watercooling apparatus well, making sure the case is clean etc.., then maybe it'll last you 10.

KOTOR, Morrowind, WoW.

I'd buy it for $100 to play PC games in bed.

Not really, but believe whatever you want if it makes you feel better! Maybe all you need is a hug :P

I'm saying it now:

Usually I agree with posts like this but in this case....

So what's to stop little Johnny saving his allowance for 3 months and buying GTA V from Gamestop on the way back from school?

It was the same in Fable II. Heck, it was the same in Mass Effect 3.

That video, which is continuously quoted whenever Fable comes up, is the biggest pile of bullshit I've ever seen from Angry Joe.
