I know at the Mass Effect panel they asked all the hardcore fans which one they liked best and most of them said ME2.

Well Bioware is hiring writers for Mass Effect 4, I know that.

Visceral Games has been owned by EA since 1998

Sounds tough :( Anyway, yeah, I think my Steam name is Cimeas afaik.

Haha my name is actually John :) But I'm not this guy.

I just want to say John if you are reading this- thanks for what you did for EA. A lot of people will say a lot of bad came out of your CEO-ship (and some did, to be fair), but games like Mirror's Edge, Mass Effect 2, Dead Space 1 and 2, also did, among many great others.

Hey, I was thinking of doing a new "DebaTay" debate-style thing for TAY and I was wondering if you'd do it with me. (Please <3) The title would be "Obsidian: Screwed Over or Just a Bit Shit?" (or whatever you want really) because I think there are lots of good arguments.

My apologies. Apparently Black Ops 2 made $1bn in 15 days. If you look at US retail sales, about 42% of them are on PS3. (from VGChartz, which doesn't count all the sales, but does show the general ratio of console/console sales)

Sega contracted out AP in late 2005 I believe. It was supposed to be done in 2008. It ended up getting delayed until late 2009. Obsidian finished working on it in mid-2009, ready to launch. Sega didn't want to launch it in the crowded Christmas season, so they ended up holding it back until May the following year

But if you look at AP for example, there were problems on both sides.

They make abou $1Bn a year, 400m of which is on the PS3.

It would cost Microsoft approx. $400 million to buy out Sony's side of Call of Duty revenue. That's 8 new AAA games.

Stop making me sad that they'll never make an LA Noire 2.

Not really. The Wii was unique and cool when it came out. It had a gimmick that people wanted to try, a gimmick that was new.

I can't believe though, that they've somehow been screwed over every single game they've made in the past decade. It just seems rather unlikely to be honest with you.

But didn't you also argue that just because a company was good 10 years ago, doesn't mean it's good today. And I absolutely agree AP was/is a piece of shit.

I meant the Xbox hobbled along for 3 years then Microsoft brought out the 360. Sorry for not being clear.

Haha. It's funny when people see the 3DS as a monstrous success. Yes, it's seen the same success the DS saw at a similar point in it's lifespan, but unlike the DS, not everyone and their grandma needs a 3DS so it'll see nowhere near the same overall sales.

I agree with a pragmatist.
