One could argue that everything except the icky green pool (which is in Brazil, obviously) is climate change related, so yeah, in this case shit going down in the U.S. would absolutely mean there are probably similar repercussions elsewhere in the world. Also: hyperbole, sarcasm. Jokes.

You missed the fact that the U.S. isn’t the center of the goddamn universe and just because things aren’t fantastic in your neck of the woods doesn’t mean the world is ending.

Fun fact: Cliff Stoll was kind of famous for a while back in the late ‘80s and early ‘90s when he tracked down a Russian KGB hacker.
