Like, how does this support their ‘librul media’ narrative anyway? Wolf is a comedian, and the actual media bent over backwards to feign horror at what were really pretty mild burns.

I blame Kinja. The system is designed to make sure inflammatory comments get to the top.
No offense, but you are the trumpiest non-trumper around these parts.
“No fan of Trump, but actually, yes, I mean, I am, he’s great”
Quotes from blurred lines:
Actually, the new “Stephen Colbert” is actually the old “Stephen Colbert’s” cousin, who also loves America and is conservative. This article also explains that he knows he can be sued and welcomes the chance to win himself back.
Its so meta these days... Just here, we’ve got a parody personality of a so-called ‘newscaster’ (who himself was revealed to be a pervert and a sexual offender) who is speaking ironically while supporting a comedian who’s tackling a group of people who don’t even realize they are pathetic sycophants to the president…
I don’t know, this sounds a lot like truthiness to me.
Ahh but they do function, at least well enough to vote.
The people saying this was too offensive or a win for Trump are too moronic to function in this world.
I had forgotten that Trump had picked Huckabee-Sanders as his surrogate to get thrown to the wolves at the Correspondents dinner while he’s off getting adulation from his base at a rally. This is exactly how good leaders inspire their subordinates.
Trump was roasted before, and he was present for the roast. It’s on the internet, easy to find on YouTube or whatnot. Every time he’s insulted and the camera pans to him, he looks like he’s on the verge of exploding with rage but trying to hide it with a fake smile. He can claim all he wants that it’s because of how…
after a few low hits at Sanders’ appearance—“I love you as Aunt Lydia in The Handmaid’s Tale!”
Apparently Sean Spicer has already come out saying that her set (which I loved) showed a fundamental misunderstanding of the 1st Amendment.
In the words of the Most(ly) Holy and Austere J. R. “Bob” Dobbs:
“Fuck ‘em if they can’t take a joke.”
My favorite moment was the skewering of Huckabee-Sanders, and when C-SPAN picked up on the exact moment where it stung. You can see a pissed Hucka-Sanders’ adam’s apple move as she awkwardly gulps as Wolf drops the bombs on her.
So good.
Wolf’s point is that she behaves like Aunt Lydia, not that she looks like her. Aunt Lydia is the one who gets up in front of a crowd every episode and puts a spin on the regime’s horrible tactics.
This was hilariously savage. So many good moments. “Mike Pence is the kind of guy who brushes his teeth and then drinks orange juice and thinks, ‘Mmmm.’”
This comment section is going to be a shitshow hotbed so I’m getting this out right now: Michelle Wolf is hilarious and you all should watch Nice Lady after tonight.
