lol...yeah, that’s one of the things about hybrids, they sort of become giant video games...trying to better your “score” every time you go for a drive. :-)

I went from paying something like $80 every 5 days in fuel for my Explorer Sport Trac, to roughly $30 a month when I switched to the Prius. When I went to the Volt, my fuel costs dropped to about $20 every 8-10 weeks. :-) Score!

Honestly, folks need to just can it with the Prius/hybrid thing. I drove a Prius for several years...it was a great car, and I’m a good driver...Midwest SCCA Solo II champion (CSP Class) a few years ago...not in the Prius :-)

If anything, most of the hybrid drivers I know become far better drivers through owning a

I agree with everything you said...although, I’m not sure I get the comment about driving a hybrid. I’ve driven many hybrids, and currently drive a Volt...many of my friends drive hybrids, hybrids are everywhere now. The type of car is absolutely no reflection on the driver’s ability to operate their car.

Now...my

I like this choice. A lot. Volvo. Yes.
I also hate to say this, please don’t hate me...but I would also consider a Gen4 Prius...perhaps, the Prius Prime. They are extremely roomy on the inside, very reliable, great mpg...they just have the stigma associated with being a Prius. I had a Gen2 that was loaded, and I

I too am interested in these numbers. I currently own a 2011 Volt, and winter driving in the Midwest results in 25-30% reduction in battery. Summer with the A/C on and windows up doesn’t affect the battery remotely as much as using the heater in the winter!

I finally got to see a Bolt up close and personal at the

Maybe use an existing oval track, insert a single chicane somewhere near the front straight where most people sit. Garage/pits/haulers stay where they are, costs to insert chicane is relatively low, spectator experience remains the same. New challenges for drivers/teams.

Also, rather than one long, boring race, have

More like PikaEEW.

Would love to see this with the Voltec powertrain ala the Volt. Make it so, GM.

I agree...there’s some really good information there. People these days have the attention span of *squirrel!!!* a flea. If the information isn’t presented in punchy bullets, the intended audience quickly tunes out...and this is coming from someone who has worked in the infosec field for going on 30 years. I’ve

Maldonado??? Really? I just squirted coffee out my nose. lol

You really need to host more F1 history clinics like this! Good stuff!

Exactly what I was thinking.
