I’m pretty sure that plenty of console games this gen will or are going to be using FSR 2 for upscaling. I believe DF mentioned that, based on the ghosting and artifacts present, it seems ToTK was relying on FSR 2 to maintain 720p on the Switch.

“Super Cruise” means breaking the sound barrier and maintaining supersonic speed without afterburners/reheat. Concorde is the only jetliner to achieve that as of yet. As far as I know, the F-22 is only plane in service at the moment capable of super cruise.

You described my experience with the first game perfectly. I think I made it past the 3 hour mark, but I hit a boss wall and haven’t gone back. Might need to try it on the Deck. Those back paddles would certainly come in handy.

I wish the adoption situation was better, but it’s horrible, at least in the South. Every dog at the shelter or Humane Society is a pit mix. While these dogs need and deserve love, a pit mix is not the best prospect for the majority of owners, especially families with children. They can be great pets, sure, but an

Same for me. I didn't use online sources until my senior year, and they all had to come from Galileo, the University System Of Georgia's free database of journals for HS and college students. In college, Ebsco Academic Search Complete was all I needed for 80% of my research.

I’ve been waiting on this one. Probably not much I don’t know, but it’ll be nice to see it all well-arranged in documentary form.

The market will correct? I agree with these folks leaving crappy service jobs, but the service-industry market will never “self-correct.” It must “be corrected” through regulation, the abolishment of “right to work” statutes, and, ultimately, the expansion of SEIU (Service Employees International Union).

That reminds me of the time I filled my cargo shorts up with like 25 floppy disks and proceeded to download the majority of the NES library, despite a ban on inserting personal media in the PCs, as I didn’t yet have the internet at home or my mom had cancelled it during one of her fits. Can’t remember, but I felt like

The tool GPTZero is currently the best option for determining AI composition. I hope these folks feeding ChatGPT its own work don't lead it to self-realization.

I pay $10/month for a plagiarism-checker, since Google Classroom only lets me scan 5 assignments per class over the course of a semester. These tools are really just capable of finding matching content online, and they are very good at it. However, I'm pretty sure that they don't yet have an AI-busting functionality.

I teach HS English, and I’m starting to get pretty good at picking up on the syntax, word choice, and content that ChatGPT produces when asked about literature. It’s all heavy handed literary-term gobbledygook that is outside the realm of most of my student’s abilities, yet it is also so on-the-nose that I would have

Back during the print magazine days, I always thought a 6.5+/10 was likely to be a pretty good game if it was something I’m normally into. Very few got 8s-10s, mostly just Nintendo IPs, JRPGs (many of which got outsized goodwill in the JRPG craze after FFVII), and the early blockbuster 3D titles (MGS, RE:2, Silent

I suspect the Switch 2 will actually be announced 48 hours after the launch of TotK. That will give the game enough time to push Switches worldwide past their breaking point. Then Nintendo announces the Switch 2, forcing everyone who bought ToTK to buy a new console if they want to actually play the game.

My first ride was a used '96 Cherokee (I miss that 4.0). I specifically sought out a model with manual windows and locks after seeing power windows and locks fail so often in our Chrysler/Dodge minivans.

Unfortunate. I got my 2020 Veloster for around $20k at the end of that same year. I’d go for the Kia here for sure, as even Kia/Hyundai’s base trims feature a touchscreen with Android/Apple auto and are replete with modern safety features. In fact, I’ll probably get something like a Rio for my kid when the time comes.

I think the Wendy’s fries of the past 10-15 years are just the old “non curly” option that Arby’s used to offer. I forgot what they called them on their menu.

Down in the South we have this place called CookOut. Double burger, slaw, onion rings, and a drink for $7. Tons of other options and 40+ flavors of shakes, and the ice cream is always working. Regional fast food places are the way to go for sure.

He needn't worry, my uncle at Nintendo can take care of it.

I prefer the Jazzmaster as well (G&L Doheny is my variant of choice), but I had a Jaguar, and it has its advantages. Definitely a more aggressive and piercing sound than the Jazzmaster.

My Gateway from 2003 still works just fine, replete with its 2.66GhZ P4 (w/Hyper threading!) and humble GeForce FX 5200.
