Didn't they fly a B2 from Missouri round-trip @ $135k/hour?

One afternoon, in a bar (I was getting a little sauced for a 3 hour lit seminar), I got into a discussion about music...Nirvana came up...for some reason, the conversation led me to say something framing them as a pop/rock band...this guy lost his mind and yelled “Kurt didn’t write pop!” I wanted to parse it, but…
That game legit makes my mouth water...and I'm not just talking about The Handler....
It’s horrible and not much better on PC; it takes way too much work to make the game into something enjoyable. There are absolutely zero tools for roster management. If you mess something up, it’s often easier to just start over.
Fire Pro is so good. I got into it late with FPW Returns through PSN on my Ps3, but it’s always been great. I’ve got the translated Fire Pro X rom on my SNES Classic and it just blows my mind; it's just as playable and addictive as the later games. At my son’s behest I also put a few old WWF games on it...and, God,…
Precisely. I guess the poor white South hasn’t changed at all. I don’t really get the “South will rise again.” It’s never been gone away and has squandered every chance for redemption. In my mind, 1980 was the final nail-in-the-coffin. The GOP managed to convince poor Southerners that a Californian was a better choice…
I guess many of my fellow white Georgians think we’d all be sitting on white-columned porches drinking mint juleps and eating Mammy’s pimento cheese sandwiches if the antebellum South rose again...in reality, most of us would be poor sharecroppers fighting for survival. This, by the way, is not meant to compare the…
Parents get upset when we can't keep their kid off of the phone once they get to school, but damned if they are going to be the ones to tell the kid "no" in the morning and make the phone stay at home.
Chromebooks are much easier to control, except for a few tech-savvy students. The hardware is pretty much locked down, and, since everything is cloud/network based, blocking IPs is much more effective than it used to be in my day, when we had access to powerful tools like Control Panel. 😂
Yep. Kids who have grown up with Android, iOS and XBox Live aren’t used to technology telling them “no,” or at least requiring them to find a workaround. A vast majority of my students are hopeless on Windows. We use Chromebooks, as well, so it’s much easier to lock everything down from the admin side of things.
I’d say that his reference to “brand-new” Shermans shows a greater ignorance than confusing an IFV and MBT. That said, I think a parade made up of civilian/museum-owned WWII vehicles with neutered weaponry would be quite ok. Shermans, Mustangs, B-17s...the last generation of US military weapons built before the arms…
To be fair, the inventory screen is a Trumpian “Huuuuuge” upgrade over the SoTN inventory, which was aboutbas organized as whatever lurks under my son’s bed. RoTN is still obtuse and bloated, but it is organized...kind of like a hoarder who manages to keep food in the kitchen and shit in the bathroom. Just the bare…
Salt and Sanctuary is definately more of a 2D Souls tribute. I think there are maybe four traversal skills and maybe just one or two uses of each. I really enjoy the combat and art style, which I know was a sticking point for many. I actually beat it before I ever played a Souls game. It was a great bridge from…
I dunno...I got the Rhava Bural early on and its ruined me. I can run full speed and just slash continuously in front of me. It has low damage, but its spam-ability offsets that. I keep trying new weapons, but I can't shake it.
I think that Bischoff will be at the top of his game. He’s been getting raked over the coals about his past decisions by Conrad and being forced to rewatch his content. He seems to be honest when it comes to actually critiquing the end product. I could care less about the show’s bloviating when it comes to…
Reading this made me question the time I told a wife her husband was cheating on her...then I remembered he was doing it with my wife, her best friend. I found out as soon as I got back from an overnight trip with the douche in question. I was suspicious but finally got proof when I checked her phone (noticed she was…
I like GBA turned based games on my phone because they are perfect for touch controls.
Aria is perfect. It’s a tight, perfectly executed package. SOTN wears out its welcome for me early in the inverted castle. Harmony of Dissonance is a mess with the castle switching mechanics. I’ve got Dawn of Sorrow, but it doesn’t really grab me.
The reasons Juul became popular with kids are the same reasons that make it the perfect device for smokers looking to switch :
I guess you've never been urinal neighbors with Ric Flair then....
