I bought a 1973 jeep cj-6 basket case and restored it. It took 6 years and thousands of dollars.. I learned a lot of skills I hope to never use again.
In my tribe is a favorite album around these parts.

As a commercial kitchen refrigeration mechanic, (I don’t like the term technician) I can attest that hardware stores and marine supply are Gods gifts when the highly priced “correct” part is days away on a holiday weekend. MacGyver it up all the way, it may even last longer than the right part!

My new jeep came with a heated steering wheel. Maybe I just got old, and things are creeky on this body of mine full of city miles, but I now wish everything I owned had one. That and heated lumbar.
