I haven’t heard the new one.... but I understand that it has less “thump.” I can’t say much as mine has the Hitchcock bore kit on it.

Don’t get me wrong... I prefer the old stuff.

Maybe I’m just old fashioned, but I like things that are built like tractors and can easily be fixed with 5 or 6 tools.

India is good at making old things forever. Look at the Royal Enfield bullet motorcycle.. the same bike with almost no changes since 1954. Single cylinder cast iron barrel thumping away. If it works, and is easy to fix why change it?
