So outside of Porsche sports cars (since the Miata is no longer happy) what other new cars in the market still have a happy fascia?

How not to empty a pool with your truck:
This post is sort of “the moment” isn’t it? This is where we can safely point to Tavarish filing for bankruptcy and Doug buying the car back for pennies on the dollar to do a year of ownership of a post-Tavarish ride.
You know I agree with you 99.99% of the time and practice what you preach whenever I can.
That poor car. It had such a good life not so long ago.
Other commenters are giving you pats on the back, but allow me to just be brutally honest here.
First of all.. welcome to Jalopnik - your new name shall be... “Doug-ish.” we should crowd-fund you the last $500 so you don’t make do with that stereo hack. very impressive resourcefulness with that car.. i wish i had half your skills/knowledge.
If he’s a plastic surgeon he must be doing very poorly.
Silly dogs, that car doesn’t have a wishbone suspension!
Let’s play a little game! I call it “Five or Accord”!
Unpopular opinion alert: I thought the F10 was a really good looking car. When they released it I remember thinking how gorgeous it was. I was kind of hoping to relive some of that amazement with a new design that was even better looking, but I’m ok with it looking the same I guess.
And with that, the ugliest 5-Series ever was born. Honestly, this whole let’s make everything around us look like an ode to the 80's has got to stop. The 80's wasn’t as great as hipsters think. It was a horrible shitpile of a decade.
I could handle the e60 but only after they put the aero kit on it for the M sport starting in 2008 (which I ended up buying). That is the last BMW I find attractive, and since I had it for 7 years and up to 100k miles, it’s now for sale. Last year I purchased an 03 540 M sport because I’d lusted after the e39…
Exactly. E30, 34, 36, 38, 39...all were overwhelming on release have matured into handsome well proportioned , dare I say beautiful cars. The new lexii are an abomination. Mercs and some Audi’s are still lovely. The bimmers are hit or miss imo.
People don’t remember how bland bmws have always looked when new. I promise when those wild designs of the new lexus look heavily dated this 5 will still look good. Just like the E39
Yeah, umm, no, BMW glow should stay the same, always. It’s just the right color to give you info when it’s dark but not distract from what’s outside.
I followed an E38 on my way home today and struggled to take my eyes off of it. I was passed by an E46 M3 at lunch and it brought a smile to my face. I found my car at the back of my mechanic’s lot yesterday sitting adjacent to an E39 M5 and I felt a pang of jealousy. Every E30 turns my head in curiosity, if not…
All of those things suck and orange back-lit gauges are awesome and easy on your eyes at night.
Blue is awful for night driving, and you should feel bad for celebrating it.
YOU SHUT YOUR DIRTY WHORE MOUTH. THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE RED.
