Rev match makes your downshifts much smoother. Naturally you add heel-toe if you’re rev matching but also need to slow down a bit more. This sets you up nicely for those times when you need to slow down but not actually stop, especially on ramps and other long radius curves.

Agree, I rev match and heel-toe every day.

”..and it’s something you only use in very vigorous driving...”

No fair, they didn’t test the Mustang in real-world conditions.

I think that is precisely what makes this so ugly/distinguishes it from an Accord.

I know here at Jalopnik we give Audi a lot of grief for using the photocopier approach to their lineup, but I feel like Mercedes is going down the same road. This C class looks like a S class at 80%.

Really really really hate that Ipad glued to the dash look... HATE IT! Its a deal buster, like those Cadillac cheap ass haptic controls ontheir center stacks, no matter how good the cars is I hae to use and/or look at that doo doo.

It looks great until you get to the rear. That’s just not appealing to me. As ever, just one man’s opinion.

OK, I’ll be the a-hole and say that I disagree with putting people in jobs based on their gender, ethnicity, creed, etc... And setting a quota for such nonsense just encourages not filling the role with the best, brightest, or most capable just for the sole purpose of looking good to politically correct affirmative

You mean something like this? I took this last week. It’s a damn farm vehicle going like 35ish on I-15 in Idaho where the speed limit is 80. It’s absolutely legal here, but unbelievably dangerous. With only two lanes, it forces everyone to try and get around it including semi’s, and NOBODY is expecting a vehicle going

The odd thing about that graph is that it’s lowest point isn’t at zero, but a tad faster. Suggesting that the public is safest if everyone starts driving 3mph over the average speed.

Anyone with an IQ over 80 can understand that correlation does not equal causation. Unbelievable. Even if this was valid, it’s not the speed that caused the deaths, it’s the shockingly low standards with which people are allowed to drive and the resulting otherwise avoidable “accidents.” Maybe we should lower the

The Model S has a fake grille. People were shitting on that when the Model S first came around.

I myself was hoping to start an aftermarket vinyl face sticker business for Model 3 customers... you know, to fund my Model S. >:)

oh because they're both white? dude, so racist...

Has to be my dad’s Morgan. It’s a 1953 +4 and in 2016 is still unrestored. First gear is non-synchro. Brakes are four-wheel drums and non power assisted. The only concession for power steering is giving you a wheel the size of a helicopter rotor. The engine only makes 50-ish horsepower but it is torquey as hell: you
