TBF, Fire Emblem Echoes launched with something like 70$ of DLC. I get being a bit apprehensive of fire emblem DLC.

The new DLC shows up on the title screen as ‘Side Story’. My understanding is that you unlock the new characters as recruitable allies and their relics (all four characters have a unique crest, are geared towards the four new classes, and a relic that more-or-less fits the class).

I consumed the everliving shit out of SoV. Probably because it betrayed my expectations as early as the first map when all the bandits homed in on the token female village only for her to murder the fuck out of each and every one.

Honestly, this has more to do with the fact that we haven’t really had a decent Harvest Moon game since the GBA. Rune Factory did an OK job scratching that itch but even it didn’t really have the shine and polish that SDV did in capturing that farming-small-town-sim type game.

I kind of agree, If you want to make a game designed for broad appeal, go for it. If you want to make a game with a very narrow appeal, go for it.

I’d rather a reasonably priced 144hz 4k monitor than a 144+hz 1080 monitor.

I don’t think they need to take the skin out of the game or anything, but I bet there are a million fun ideas for skins that don’t involve something so explicitly tied to male sexual fantasies. Especially considering she’s supposed to be a teenager still.

Yeah, I feel like it’s a bit too similar to wartortle - looking at venusaur and charizard, they’re both pretty dramatic departures from the prior evolution, so a ‘more wartortle’-y blastoise would probably feel weaksause.

While i loved the original fonts in FFXII’s dialog, the new ones are so clean and easy to read it’s hard to say what’s better.
