And so the cycle begins anew.

This is probably Blizzard’s fault. Thanks, Barrens chat. Jokes about Mankirk’s wife, Chuck Norris, overlaid by a serenade of “The Crossroads is under attack.”

She should hire Stormy Daniels to serve his court notice.

part of me growing up wanted to get into game development, and adult me is so glad I didn’t if only because moments like these kind of kill the magic.

but why

god opening cores was the worst. Just all the little time wasters in that game really started to drain on me. I clocked 200 hours on it by the time I’d finished the last boss and it’ll be a looooooooooooong time before I go back for more.

I like the PS layout. But the fucking light on the front of the ps4 controller is the dumbest design choice.

Stuff them, mash them, stick em in a stew?

I can echo this. The other major game news sites are kind of a joke. Polygon, IGN, and Gamespot are usually cringeworthy. (though the vid of Gamespot buying and opening 100$ worth of DLC in Battlefront 2 was pretty solid, compared to the blanket praise it was getting elsewhere)

The gatcha is that most of the code behind the emulators is open source. Nintendo and Sony let the hackers do most of the work for free, then can fork it, polish it (or at the very least copy the archetecture) include a copy of the open source license in fine print somewhere and call it a day.

read a bit further. “Man has girlfriend who plays smash”

Arguably, the game did well on metacritic. I suspect that people who liked the first two games will like the third. First timers should probably check those out before dropping 70$ on this one.

Good thing he found it
