It’s almost like he’s building a product and not a peice of art.

True to a point. If you look at Mass Effect 1 vs. 2 for example, They took a lot of RPG elements out (inventory management, complex leveling options, etc) and streamlined the shit out of what was left. What you ended up with was a servicable 3rd person shooter with small RPG elements and a bioware storyline. There

not quite like that, you fight as FF characters, against other FF villains (or vice versa), through-out you fight nameless characters as either random encounters or other plot devices to make good v. good match-ups (though those sometimes happen anyway).

arcade version didn’t have a story mode to my knowledge. the PSP games only used the proxy character names in the storyline.

It’s always funny to see the contrast between “How adults think kids will process the material” versus “How kids actually process the material”

Stupid, but somewhat relevant aside.

It’s not much different than people buying shovelware to boost their gamerscore on the X360. There were oodles of garbage games that literally had one 1000 point achievement for putting the disk in.

so many trips to the email terminal only to be denied :(

can also control your party in combat which makes the game about 1000x easier.

This is actually most likely intentional. Microsoft released a paper on why typical email scams will be full of either incredibly high-ball, overtly obvious scams, and not elaborate, cunning traps designed to capture everyone.

I also have a 1st gen surface, have had it since a bit before the surface 2 came out, my keyboard cover is not noticibly gross/greasy and has held together better than the surface itself (which is showing some pretty serious wear and tear from rolling around in my bag for the like 3-4 years I’ve owned it)

If it’s those Anubis motherfuckers in the pyramid level, get yourself a persona that’s immune to light+dark (which makes you completely immune to them). That’s basically the only part in the game I had serious issues with random encounters.

It’s not even remotely required, you can go through the game while taking none of the romance options.

He tells you not to go there, and then immediately follows up with a subtle remark about you being his son-in-law. so, it’s like eeehhh.

The xpac is removing the higher difficulties in favor of several new acts. Leveling speed to “Endgame” is still on the slow side.

Path of Exile’s getting an Xpac in june.

I had this issue on my Samsung TV, was able to fix by turning off the “Wake on HDMI” feature in the Switch settings. I’ve had it wake the TV even when it was sitting in doc, in sleep.

ughhhhh, if true, that is horrible.

Should defo be using allll the save slots anyway. Every time I save (which is often in persona) i just use the next slot down, then loop back to the top when I hit the bottom. mostly because of those oh-shit moments like forgetting to do some time sensitive thing (sunday drink, feed the plant, etc.)
