That being said, putting Long in a die hard movie is still an odd choice. I think that Live Free or Die Hard is passable none the less.

Two quivers; No pants.

Remember that one time Microsoft packaged a web browser with one of their operating systems and we got them charged with some anti-trust law?

The important part of this is that somewhere along the line Youtube grew a spine and started looking out for it’s consumers.

I agree. The middleman cut out the source.

Every kickstarter needs to account for some attrition due to withdrawn or fraudulent payments. It’s good that it happened before it was marked funded, it’d be worse if the fraudulent payment was withdrawn after the fact and the project ended up falling through due to lack of funds.

It’s funny because initially many people (myself included) loathed steam because we’d purchased some game (in many cases orange box) which demanded that we install Steam to run and play said game. Many other games followed suit, but we were stuck with this extra middleman between us and our content.

Isn’t that the one that came with the FFXII demo? I feel like it’s got something in common with ZOE where people bought it for the MGS2 demo and wound up with a nifty-anime-mecha-game for those who actually played it.

How many hours played do suspect you’re sitting at?

Honestly, using twitter to push your soapboxy agenda is probably the worst move you can make in your career.

I love how they don’t even sound pissed off or freaked out that they just drove into a lake, and had the sense(?) to turn on the wipers.

I like the 36 year old Shulk.

Cosmic Star Heroine did that. Physical rewards were limited to 100$+ backers too. Boyd did a write up on how to launch a kickass kickstarter for penny arcade report back when.

He’s good, but his reputation amongst the playerbase is pretty bad because of how hard he was nerfed initially (which is a common mantra for the genre).

If anyone in the PC gaming space needs a competitor, it isn’t Valve/Steam, but Microsoft/Windows.

They couldn’t afford him.

For the record, He healed himself repeatedly as the fight progressed.

I generally ran with a Shulk/Reyn party taking either Fiora or Sharla(sniper-healer?). Fiora was a weaker healer but did oodles of damage and had some other interesting support abilities, Shulk was pretty needed to handle mechon, and Reyn. A party without Reyn is hardly a party at all.

At this point WoW has been so many different things throughout it’s lifespan that everyone who’s ever played it, and even everyone still playing it, have a different opinion on what WoW should be. 10 million people is a large body of people to cater to.
