I really appreciate this comment. I think it’s important for us New Orleanians to recognize that, as messed up as a lot of the coverage and response has been, we are lucky to be at the center of it. In this sense, we are in a position of privilege. And we need to remind people that we weren’t the only ones

Anyway, it’s kind of difficult for me to concisely talk about all Fink gets wrong in the space of an internet comment (I mean, I got an MA thesis chapter on it if you want 40 pages of dense literary criticism). But here are some of the things that
