I don't think it's unreasonable - keep in mind that this is roughly the same P/W as the last Acura RSX (no barnburner itself) but it's enough to make it a fun, sporty car. My mid-80's Celica wasn't going to win any drag races (I think it was rated at 105hp, and maybe 130 ft-lbs) but it was a fun car to drive.

Exactly - it's basically the successor to the 81-85 Celica, had they not swapped it to FWD.

I think I have the Camaro version in 1/64 die-cast Fast 111's at home. Mine has a blown engine in the back, though.

Totally NP. Looks like someone else thinks so, too - the ad's already been removed.

Enjoy

You and the guy that passed me in a 97 Mustang today. First Mustang GTR I've seen in a while. No VTEC badge, though, so I know the guy was a poseur.

...and bonus points for the combo.

Wow - a lot of great submissions to this one. I'm going to throw my hat in the ring with an oddball favorite (maybe not the "coolest")

I like that they worked the "H" into the design, too.

Yeah, me too - I used to try and mimic the (font? handwriting?) look of it in my junior high notebooks.

I don't know that I've ever noticed a color Studebaker emblem before. I like it.

There was a South Park Drive in my hometown...in the late 90's people started stealing the sign due to the popularity of the cartoon. After the sign went missing for the 3rd time, they raised the post it was on to around 10' high. When it was stolen again, the city changed it to South Park Avenue...

I think it really classes it up...what is that? Oak?

I like it. Not in the market for such a thing, but I like the shape of the roof (not as ackward as it could have been) and at least it provides a functional alternative to the fake cloth top I've seen on just about every model luxury sedan on the market.

Too soon...

Hadaken's response was much more informative, but yours was much more fun to read.

No problem with the (almost horizontal) steering wheel obscuring the speedo here. Plus, it's pretty difficult to speed with 53bhp, even if you wanted to.

Replying largely b/c you went to all that trouble to make your comment long enough for a reply. Nicely done - did you make that yourself?

Agreed...adding that if you think about it, Hornet is a pretty cool name for a car. With luck, any association people have with the AMC Hornet will be fleeting.

HC for finding those videos - you went the extra mile when the search engine autocorrected the spelling and you made it "search instead"
