Ha - that show was awesome and terrible at the same time. My favorite part of the show was the crazy scenarios they used to get him to turn to a car. (hot-car, cold-person). The best one was where a bum spilled a can of beans on him; "Oh no! Hot beans! And...now I'm a car."

+1. The last-gen Regal (GS as well) was a lot more fun than its looks let on. I still wouldn't mind picking one up if my economic situation prohibits a clean 6M CTS.

Holy crap. That is all.

Who Killed the Electric Streetcar Named Desire?

If these three, in this form are the static requirements, I'd take the BOSS, because I've always liked Mustangs and wouldn't look any less of a jackass than I do in my current SN95.

Ouch...what did Cadillac ever do to you? So negative...

+1. I've been misled by AutoTrader for the last time! Off to...Craigslist? Cars.com? Crap, they all get it wrong.

I had a similar experience with a Javelin. Best sound in the world when it fired up after a 10-year slumber.

RIP - wanted to see a shuttle launch my whole life. My wife was there in April, and the launch got scrubbed an hour or so before takeoff. Hopefully someday we'll get another chance to see something comparable.

Yeah - "Untraceable". First thing I thought of.

Beneath the Electric Car? Escape from the Electric Car? Conquest of the Electric Car? Battle for the Electric Car?

You know, after looking at the gallery on the Ebay auction, I kind of like it. Yeah, by the end of the decade, the egg-shaped, fish-mouth thing was kind of played out, but in 94 this was pretty original. Not very practical, but a cool concept. I even see a little SN95 Cobra in the lower front valance...

It was intended as a kind of joke (need to work on my internetiness), but you got me on the nationality thing - I always thought they were native to Oz, but I guess they just lived there for a while. You learned me something new today. [en.wikipedia.org]

Now playing

To "Aussies are so not cool, they just think they are.", I present a counterpoint.

I haven't looked since Friday, but I didn't see where anyone nominated Tim Allen. That's a shame, b/c he's a huge car guy. Hell, I used to watch Home Improvement as a kid hoping to catch a glimpse of the 48 Ford...

This was the first thing I thought of, but ruled it out since it appears to be coming true on some newer luxury cars. Won't be long before it starts filtering down to us plebians.

I saw one at a car show in WV last year. I was shocked, and ended up talking with the guy for an hour while my family went and found shade and a 'lemon shake' stand.

I think my great uncle has one in his barn. Beat to hell, but original paint.
