Signal lights. The only people who use them learned to drive out of province. Native born drivers see them as a challenge to speed up and close the gap so the car signalling their intent cannot merge, change lanes, turn, pass, etc.

FWIW, the website issues you describe might be web browser and/or device rather than the website design/programming. Websites being less than optimum when viewed with certain web browsers (or versions thereof) or OS’s is not as common as it used to be, but, still crops up.
