Eyeball test. He’s phenomenal.

Former editor here at a major news organization.

This is why I never blame the QB. He is what he is. The contract and the owners are the issue. Not the player.

Diana, I hope if you are EVER accused of anything, whatever news org you work for doesn’t employ dozens of people who talk about stuff without due process being conducted first. That would be inappropriate. Isn’t that fair?

What’s killed the ENJOYMENT for me has been the traditionalist mentality. Just the mere suggestion of changing something because it isn’t working anymore puts certain people into fits, and therefore, it’s exhausting.

I bet the coaches are there LATE and sleep in their offices - so that should fix things.

I read some stat that said (something like) the Phillies are the first time in history to sign 4 all-stars from the previous year. I may have misremembered, but that’s the gist.

At this point in time, I would have to put Paul McCartney.

This is how journalism has changed the most during the digital age, in my opinion. If, say...10 years ago...,a newspaper writer turned in a story about OUATIH with 8 paragraphs about Radio Flyer on top, they’d be castrated by their editors. In the internet world, it’s ...anything goes. Good piece. Just...weird.

Giant headline sticking it to Magic -- spreading bad words about the man and an entire organization*

It’s pretty simple for me: Everyone in my life who is a fan of/defends soccer, basketball and football do it with glee and zeal and fun and enthusiasm. Everyone who is a fan of/defends baseball is douchy and serious and “historic.”

I know you love to be Rovell bashers, and that’s fair. But I do find it odd you go overboard in your snark about covering issues that people actually - do - like to follow: show deals, business, branding, etc. He’s good at it. And it’s not Lavar Ball hot air. It’s fun stuff to read about.

Wonderful answer.

As I’m watching him, I keep thinking that Kawhi is the one guy who can truly will his team to victory against the Warriors. It just “feels” like that may happen. Am I being ridiculous?

There are actual, smart people who criticize this guy.

Basically, everything that guy wrote was erroneous.

Counterpoint: I hate the Rockets, but the refs were indeed weird in Game 1. Even objectively.

This really is the dumbest thing I’ve ever read. You’d seriously rather have goals that don’t count ... count.

I am from Dallas. Major Dirk homer and huge fan as him as a person. But sports fans are weird. If you win one championship, you get glowing blowjobs. If you win three (LeBron/others), you often get criticized. It’s weird. Happens all the time.

Once again proving that the problem with journalism is journalists.
