Grew up in Federal Way and now live in Tacoma and I nodded when I read “Tukwila to Puyallup”. Also; the “now if you’ll excuse me, I have to go watch the Mariners lose a Wild Card spot” hit me right in the heart.

My guess is that Lombardi will never say a negative thing about the Patriots; just as Simmons won’t. To Simmons and Lombardi; Belichick and the Pats are the Pope and the Catholic Church and they’re above reproach. Simmons has hit a home run on almost all of his hires (my opinion); Lombardi seems to be the exception.

I have to say, it’s become a huge relief that both sides of my family came here AFTER the Civil War.
