Totally agree ... Except for the LC500 which somehow pulls off the over the top design. I guess what works for it is the fact that the car has almost cartoon-esque proportions, so over the top lines is OK.

That is my main beef with the design. There are lines but no volumes. That is especially evident when put next to the first gen.

I agree for the Talisman, it is one of the least bad French cars. But you should keep in mind that French cars are really on the “meh” side of things. I know Jalops seem to love them for some reason (I believe “lack of availability” is the main reason), but truely, they are perfectly designed for the average French

Full disclosure: I did not read all the comments beacause this argument has been going on for a while. I’d like to give you my Z4 e85 3.0i owner point of view.

I can’t find the plane on controller.com, I guess Kristen made good on her promise to buy it.

Technology  Good ol’ kinematics can be are always fascinating sometimes, even on the most basic of cars pretty much everything.

I can see the day when I’ll let the key to my locked Z4 fall into the trunk and I won’t notice it: the trunk has no handle on the pre-facelift Z4 and can only be opened from inside the car of from the key.

I am a 100% on board with that idea. Engineering masochism is kind of my fetish.

A few years ago I wanted to show off in front of a friend. I told him I’d give him de “rally version” of the road between my home and the train station he had to go to (something like half a mile away, he could have walked there just as fast). There was some gravel on the road and I tried sliding my beloved econobox

Funny, what is described looks a lot like France. We are doing alright(ish) I think. Plus, no mass shootings !

Thank you ! I was surprised not seeing an Type-E in the comments.

Guys, you have to think like this :

Actually, the 14th of July celebrates the “Fête de la Fédération” which was the first anniversary of the “prise de la Bastille”, where the king aknowledged that we owned his ass.

You have a flat six behind your ears, that is all the music you’ll ever need.

800 V or 800 kW ? Sorry to be an ass about that (professional deformation), but volts is for tension and watt is for power (watts = volts * ampers).

I thought the same, and then saw the “Everything is important” picture right after. I think it embodies very nicely the work done on this 911.

The cab is nice with the top down. I agree that the line is not exactly flowing with the soft top on, just like any convertible in my opinion.

The coupe only has the revised, less funky tail lights. This is why I wanted to stick to the pre-facelift ones (that and budget).

I like it. To me, any other convertible looks boring from the side (looking your way SLKs).

I have a 14 years old 3.0i that has now 125 000 km on the odo (around 77 500mi).
