I was under the impression that A&E plants “treasure” in units to make this show watchable. Isn’t that the case?

Oh my, the snark is fast with this one. :)
Ah. That sounds reasonable then.
Youtube has never been profitable for Alphabet at any point. Even with a monopoly since 2008 or so. It’s really in it’s death throes as a business model. You better get used to having to venture outside of it.
I know there’s a lot of people that think like you. You’re the problem.
“I want all my content without ads and in one place that might or might not screw the content creators but I don’t care because I like it this way,” isn’t a viable opinion to have on this issue.
The world doesn’t work that way. Hence the…
That’s great for you yourself. That means nothing to the people making the content.
If Alphabet treats their content creators like garbage like the article is talking about, those content creators will need to fight back by banding together like Cecilia is advocating or making their own competition to youtube.
Your analogy would work if Netflix were the only streamer and had the ability to screw both their customers and content creators. Hulu and Amazon came along and made every one of those services better and cheaper.
A lot of popular people I’ve followed or subscribed to on Youtube have jumped ship and started their own platforms lately. They still use youtube but as a platform to point viewers to their own. Like Steven Crowder on CRTV. Or Andrew Klavan and Ben Shapiro on Daily Wire. They’ve seen success doing that. I hope others…
Most of original development team for Banjo Kazooie promises another Banjo Kazooie. Game releases and game “critics” complain that it’s too much like Banjo Kazooie......
Power/gpu wise they’re around the same surprisingly. (Highest phone available which is the galaxy 8 currently.) Optimization is clearly in Switches favor though. In 2 years phones will have caught up but maybe not since phone advances have plateaued a bit since 2014.
Thanks for typing that out so I didn’t have to. A 1080 in a console isn’t the same as a 1080 in a PC.
I wasn’t talking about the specific case. I was pointing out the logic fail in the sentence wording. The word “yet” here implies that it’s rare to lose a case if you don’t show up. Which is the opposite of the truth.
Yea, it’s rather silly how these courts think they can get anyone to enforce much of anything done through the internet. Still very much the wild west. Just judges posturing basically.
Edit: Judicial systems don’t enforce. I misspoke and fixed it.
And YET? You typically lose a case if you fail to show up.
Once Dx12 gets a foothold, the Windows Store might mean something. Until then it’s just another pain in the ass.
Yup. That’s my point. Different strokes for different folks. (Although even a casual racing fan should be able to see the huge difference between Forza and others right now. It’s almost as if EA and Polyphony gave up trying to compete.)
Forza is the best racing series right NOW by a near unanimous consensus. That’s the only reason I even have a Xbox One.
Not to mention, the person hitting him could get physically hurt as well. Hitting a 550 pound object at freeway speed is going hurt. (400 for the bike +150 for the person is my estimate if you’re wondering.)
Well yea, but Youtube will squash your stream or video at Atlus’s requests with not a lot of recourse. Of course, someone could put up their own vid on a different site to get around it.
Edit: I went full internet moron and spelled “their” wrong. So I fxed it.
Youtube has been really shi$%y lately. Even putting the “racist” or whatever controversy aside. there needs to be some type of balancing force back to the content creators. I’m guessing a competitor platform will inevitably pop up.
