WHY DO U HATE ELON IS IT BECAUSE U HAT AMERICA

Sure, Tesla employs people. Sure, they were important to getting the EV movement started. But at this point they’ve gotten so complacent and listen to so many of Musk’s bad ideas that they need to be called out on it.

I don’t think I’ve done either of those things you’ve accused me of in this article.

Funny you should mention “planet”. According to the Cybertruck website, it is:

What kind of idiot designs something intended for outdoor use that can’t be easily washed? That’s like dry-clean-only patio furniture.

I think its to save the Tesla owner the embarrassment of being seen outside with a Tesla.

You can’t charge it after midnight either.

Doesn’t explain the “warranty void” and the water ingress.

Sheesh! You have to put it in a special mode for it to cope with a fucking car wash? And if not, warranty is voided! What a fucking shitshow of a design and company.

I wasn’t allowed to ride with my grandparents and never understood why. Then one day grandpa HAD to drive for some reason, and then I learned. On a two lane country highway he comes to a dead stop, then starts backing up to see what kind of roadkill that was we just passed.

If I’m a passenger, it probably means my wife is driving.

I once hitched a ride from my hometown to college from a “friend of a friend” that I didn’t know very well. They were fine at driving and their car was nice. Their taste in music, however, was questionable. Being subjected to listening to Yanni for five hours straight is no pain I would wish on my worst of enemies.

That time we were getting shot at in a Chinook while slingloading an uparmored HUMMVEE in Afghanistan.

I’m 52 and DD an S1000RR for 5 months of the year. It has insane acceleration, but I never do anything like that in traffic. One of the best ways to be safe in traffic is to be predictable, not weaving in and out of it. Respect the power and don’t be an asshat in traffic, as was mentioned by other posters.

He even claims that it was “too much confidence for too little skill.” That reads to me like he thinks there’s a level of skill where lanesplitting and weaving through traffic at 100+ miles per hour could ever be done safely.

Low blood sugar perhaps. I had a similar thing happen while driving a number of years ago. I was feeling faint so pulled over to the side of the road, stopped and turned off the car, and woke up 10 minutes later. I was extremely hypoglycemic for some reason.

Tell me about it. They couldn’t find any cause in the hospital and they kept me overnight.

I don’t understand why people do this. Riding is dangerous enough as it is.

He could have killed someone else with his dangerous riding. Twerps like this should have their licenses permanently suspended.

Not defending him at all, but the consequences of being an asshat on a motorcycle land almost entirely on the asshat.
