Usually you wear them to the Homecoming football game, as well as all day at school. Oftentimes they are much bigger and easily span the width of the girl’s torso, with ribbons trailing to the floor. They are so heavy that they are no longer pinned to the shirt, but worn on a ribbon around the neck like a medallion.
