Theres nothing wrong with driving the vehicle you like. It's popular to hate on trucks, but driving a truck without using the full capacity is no worse than driving a sports car without taking it on the track.

Yeah.... nope. It came across as an attempt at a not-really-a-joke joke, of the “I don’t meant it except I sorta do” school of child clever. Car thieves in my ‘hood (and theirs, and yours) tend to drive it like they stole it, and like they don’t pay for insurance, and like they’re judgement proof, and sometimes like

Owning an RS6 outside of the warranty period? Do you also share needles?

Just doing some quick math here, assuming it’s around what they currently sell for, it’d be around $93K +TTT, so... $105K, plus some options, which means you’d likely land around $115K. Since Audi’s tend to age like a fine... uhm, bread... let’s assume it’s going to be worth $48K in 36 months.

Where’s PG this weekend ?

If no one is buying your car, it isn’t desirable and at the right price.

of the big trips I’ve done in the last few years, exactly none of them could have been done the way we did them in a subaru with good tires.

I hate the name but certainly those of us car camping in the backwoods are fitting the definition these days. It seems to me you DO understand overlanding, but maybe not the necessity many feel to build up a big bad truck on the biggest tires to do it. And you are right, you don’t need all that.

Is a folding windshield really that big a deal for people? I go to Moab every year and I don’t know a single Jeep owning friend who drops their windshield. I don’t think any of them would care if their vehicle did or didn’t come with it.

And this, dear colleagues, is the hybrid that all the dumbasses awaiting the mythical $35K Tesla Model 3 should be buying.

This thing has been making the rounds in all of the FB car groups, and it’s amazing how many people immediately jump down the guy’s throat with comments poking fun at someone who apparently can’t afford gas for the car, or is too stingy if a Prius isn’t economical enough for him.

What the fuck, people. This is awesome.

If it can power itself into a normal seating position now, that would great.

I hear that for an extra $2000, they’ll replace the motor with a webbing loop so that you can pop the handle out yourself and save some weight.

Wow, that’s impressive! A plastic GM part that can withstand 4 pounds of weight. Now I’ve seen everything.

Gotta keep the darn cats off.

The Volt is exactly what a plug-in hybrid should be. It’s got enough range to cover most people’s daily commute, and the IC engine for times when they are going farther. The interior is far better than the Prius alternatives, and the Prius could not do what the Volt can do, i.e. server as a 100% electric vehicle for

What went wrong:

People who survived tend to have survived.

While I agree what he did was dumb, he has owned up to that multiple times and advocates that it was the dumbest thing he ever did and he hopes nobody else does it again. While yes it was dangerous, he didn’t kill anyone, and he did own up to his mistakes, and continually does.
